cover foxit and the pdf download extension

First install foxit pdf reader (direct link) and then install PDF Download Firefox extension after installing both restart firefox and then in the options for pdf download input the exe file for foxit.  Now you have a lightweight FAST pdf reader without all the cruft and useless plugins that the adobe version has.

I’d just like to say woot! and thanks to akismet plus letting me input the time to keep spam as .1 it’s deleted almost immediately. I don’t get a lot of comments on this blog so i rarely have false positives and therefore don’t really need to worry about legitimate comments being blocked. As soon as akismet is ported over to phpbb and mediawiki the web will be a better place .

Notice anything different? Probably not but check the address bar, a lot of people still type in www.wormeyman.com however for years www. has had no special meaning and is pretty much useless as well as 3 extra letters that you don’t need to type. Geek speak ahead!  www. is called a subdomain a subdomain is commonly used to segregate content for example I have http://spy.wormeyman.com for my spyware page and http://free.wormeyman.com for my popular freeware post.  Therefore instead of allowing the www. to be typed in i’ll gently redirect users to http://wormeyman.com and post to you guys why it’s no longer necessary to type in www.  For fun try listening to radio ads and see how many companys list their address as www.example.com i’d say about half still use www.

We played 2 games and my team lost both times i also dived to save it a couple of time and had an absolute blast!  It was amazing how much fun i had today after playing ultimate i played disc golf with a guy that found us through disc nortwest and it was pretty interesing to be alone in the woods with a guy that was completely different than me but our mutual love of frisbee sports.

Well my childhood friend Gleno (his legal name is Glen jr. but he goes by Gleno) got married to his bride Brittany and on wednesday they fly back to japan where he is stationed with the Navy.  Apparently they did thier whole engagment and marriage counseling over the phone/email while he was in japan and while Brittany was in the states.  Anyways the wedding was quite simple just the father releasing the bride after the bridesmaids walked down the isle and the groomsmen waited for them as they were upfront already.  No flowergirl, no ringbearer, no candles just a nice simple wedding.  However their were some problems the wedding photoropher was probably a friend as she was totally unprofessional in the way she took pictures as well as the equipment she used (a dslr).  Hiring a friend is definatley cheap but you don’t always get the quality you could have got if you hired a wedding photrogpher that’ll rent a $1600 camera with a $1600 lens and have a backup in case anything goes wrong.  As well as an assistant that’ll take pictures from another angle that is usually a highschool or college student trying to get into photography.  Another thing that has always bothred me is small kids at the garter/boquet toss as they aren’t actually ellible to get married considering they still think boys/girls are gross :p.  Anyways congradulations to gleno and i hope you and brittany have a long and healthy life.

an extra hundred dollars for working a sunday and a holiday (memorial day weekend) i was pretty stoked unfortunatly that money is going to go towards all they money i owe my parents which should be payed off already

This is the first time i’ve been sick in a while sure i get colds all the time but not sick to the point of feeling miserable .  I’m pretty sure this is a 1 day thing but i usually eat pretty healthy and don’t share drinks and stuff all that often so i’m rarely sick.

Synchback is a freeware backup solution in that with about 4 clicks i can select what i want to backup and where i want to back it up to. In addition to being able to backup to my website (which i don’t) i can also backup my website to my computer (which i do). And for the low low price of free how can you go wrong espically when the inevitable hard drive crash happens you’re going to want your data backed up. Synchback also supports task scheduling so you don’t have to have it running all the time in your system tray as the windows scheduler will open the program for you.

Went with a couple friends to Seattle tonight to go to the cheesecake factory and every block there were 1 or 2 CREAPY bums that either had missing limbs and broken ribs but wouldn’t let us buy him food “I only want a few bucks man” or the guy that says he “really f****ng wants to beat you up” after you say you don’t have any money for him. The first guy was probably an alcoholic which is treatable with free community programs if he wants to show up and the second guy could have been a paranoid schizophrenic which is also controllable. While it doesn’t offer me any real protection I was carrying my 2″ knife so that gave me a little comfort around the guy threatening to beat my friend up . Sad that people that have free help available to them won’t take it and instead put a damper on my evening. To ask for tax free income that they will probably spend poorly.
