I got a 300GB sata 16mb of cache hard drive for my dead computer this will hopefully fix it. And i also got the dvd versions of glaidator and braveheart both great man movies.

Anybody that isn’t a pc gamer/nerd will totally not get this/think it’s retarted but personally i think pure pwnage is hilarious. Some great quotes were:

I had a chance to play volleyball tonight with my churches “20 sometings” ministry I think i did pretty good i forgot how much i like volleyball and while i still love playing ultimate frisbee more i had a blast. I think i won as many as i lost as far as games are concerned and i had more good passes and spikes than i did bad ones so after a year of not playing it’s always good to find that you haven’t lost all your skills.

After volleyball we all headed over to starbucks to get some drinks diana had a tangerine/strawberry frappicino i had a blackberry green tea frappicino and matt and kendall both had bottled drinks.

I borrowed an old compaq of his and by old i mean it has a dvd burner and a 2.4ghz processor so i’m not hurting too bad . However i still won’t be able to try the prey demo until i fix my computer which i think just needs a new hard drive. Anyways i installed windows vista and while this computer can’t handle the aero glass interface it still is nifty neato

I had a blast this weekend diana and i arrived early on friday to cougar rock campground and after using the “comfort station” (bathroom with cold water and no showers) unloaded the clothes out of our packs loaded up the ten essentials and water and headed off to hike to carter fallswhich didn’t require us to drive to as the trailhead was near our campground. The hike was very easy as we only had the 10 essentials and water so our packs were light, with a puny 650ft elevation gain over 2.8 miles it was a pretty easy and senic hike.

After arriving back at camp we played nertz until everyone else arrived and we started setting up camp. After camp was setup we cooked chicken and sat around the fire talking for a while until nate whiped out his guitar and lead us in a few worship songs. Unfortuantely our worship was cut short by quiettime but as someone who has had bad experiences by fellow christians ignoring quiet time in the name of god i insisted that we be quiet so our neighbors could sleep. Everyone went to bed around 10 that night.

The next morning i woke up at 5:30 am and couldn’t get back to sleep so i put on some warm clothes and went for a walk on my walk i saw aaron who had gotten up before me and was heading back to camp from his walk. I walked for maybe 10-15 minutes and headed back to camp where i saw sharon sittind down who had the honors of waking up at 4:30 i beleieve. Eventually everyone got up and a couple more people got up we headed down to the longmire general store to pickup some more firewood so we could cook our breakfast.

Breakfast for me was oatmeal as that is what i like to eat when i go hiking i forgot what everyone else had but maybe aaron or diana will elaborate as to what was for breakfast. Diana brought her french press cofeemaker which was probably the best 2 cups of coffee i have ever had. After breakfast we all piled into the vehicles we came in and hiked to comet falls during the hike almost everyone got injured except for aaron and his wife colleen even their baby got “injured” with a sunburn which is a big deal to a 5 month old. After fording a river because the bridge was out we did a little backcountry hiking to find the trail to make it to comet falls which was AMAZING at how powerfull it was. For fun we stood under the second falls (picture link) and got soaked but it was a blast and we dried of fairly quick with the campfire taking care of the rest when we got back. This hike reminded me of why i love my hiking poles so much besides the obvious speed benefit they have they also lesen the strain on my knees as well as provide stablity when crossing loose soil or fording a river .

That night a lot of us crashed pretty early due to sun exposure as well as the hiking we did i got a good 12 hours of sleep and since i was the first person to bed i can’t really say what happened that night.

The next morning diana woke up early and did the carter falls hike by herself while the rest of us slept in and enjoyed the last few hours of camping/vacation. Packing up went smoothly and i think most of us ended up with what we came with which is always a plus!

Overall i had a great weekend and an excuse for why i didn’t post for 2 days.

So somwhere on the internet i signed up for computer gaming world undery my magazine name wich is a mispelling of my last name to see if they resell my name. And they send me june, july,august all within 3 days of each other i haven’t even opened the first magazine when 2 more come in the mail so needless to say i have a lot of reading to do :p

A pregnant co-worker of mine asked me to touch her stomach the other day so i could feel her baby and she’s only 4 months pregnant so it’s not like she’s showing very much. Needless to say i was pretty weirded out and politely refused to touch her stomach, not to mention that i could get in trouble if someone assumed the wrong thing.

This is the game i bought on ebay by the way and while it was published in 1995 for the super nintendo it’s still as fun and as epic as it was when i played it years ago (via emulation). Also concerning gaming i’ve been having a lot of fun playing my friends nintendo DS games since 2 of them purchased the ds lite. So yeah that’s a short update into my gaming life.

12 of the neighbor hood guys got together to help the neighbor who lives behind us pour a new tool shed or whatever he was building. Basically it took 3 truck loads to have enough concrete so it was a REALLY large shed. Anyways i came a little late because i slept in but it was a good time.

Then it was my cousin elise’s graduation party she had 16 people graduate in her smal school and she had friends as well as family over. After visiting with everyone i took some of the younger guys outside and we tossed a football around. Of course i would have liked to toss a frisbee but alas i didn’t bring one with me

Ok so it’s dead… again… and it’s really frustrating i’ll try to update better than i have been but it’s incredibly frustrating.
