The Seattle Times: Nation & World: Russians passed info to Saddam, files claim

Russian diplomats passed detailed, though sometimes inaccurate, tactical information about American troop movements to senior Iraqi officials even as U.S. troops closed in on Baghdad during the 2003 invasion of Iraq, according to Iraqi intelligence documents captured by the U.S. military.

If this is true it is incridebly damnimg evidince that maybe our ties with russia after the coldwar weren’t worth much if they were giving sensitive military troop movements to iraq. Now this could all blow over and turn out to be false evidence fabircated by russia haters and passed on to the us media but nevertheless it’s pretty extreme accusations.

She called the guy helping me out today “hey there is my favorite safeway employee” then once she got closer she said “ohh sorry you’re not him.” Then she proceded to tell the guy that i have very good customer service and that she was going to write a newspaper article about me. Pretty weird if you ask me, also this is unsubstaniated but i trust my co-worker but yeah.

Ok i know the site is loading slooowww but i’ve added 2 spam blocking plugins (sk2,BB) and hopefully they’ll stop the problem but it appers that spammers have figured out how to bypass the fact that i have trackbacks disabled in comments.

I got 10 voicemails today some of which i already got and someof which i should have received when they were sent to me weeks ago that i never received. Needless to say i am not impressed with my cell carrier, hopefully no one is mad at me for not calling me back because i don’t call people back if they don’t leave a voicemail and since no-one has been leaving me a voicemail i have not been calling them back :p

ajaxWrite is a streamlined word processor, comparable to Microsoft Word. To keep the program lean, we left out some obscure advanced features; you’ll find the functions you use most often, right where you’d expect them to be. (We’re still working on the spell checker.) Wow pretty impressive of course it’s as ugly as word 97 but it’s functional and fast overall i’m pretty impressed.

So i went airsofting (that can’t be a word) with my students the teams were 3vs2 which was really 2vs2 because one guy camped in the back. I went running around alot and hit several students a couple of times, while it didn’t live up to my expectations it was still fun. The problem is that the guns are only accurate up to 15 or so feet for the entry level models we all had so you had to get close to hit someone which removed any sort of tactics. In addition getting hit in the forehead from 15 feet away is not cool :(.

woot! it’ll be great to have my best friend back in washington in mid april (after my b-day though ). The poor couple has to plan moving to washington and plan a wedding by july.

I found no less than 7 capital one credit card applications they send me one every 2 weeks or so it’s insane i don’t have any credit yet they keep wanting me to sign up with them
