The Mawidge of Galen and Reena Hensley

Mawidge…mawidge is what bwings us togewer today…
Mawidge, the bwessed awwangement, that dweam wiffim a dweam…
… Ven wuv, twoo wuv, wiw fowwow you fowever..
… so tweasuwe your vruv..
(taken straight out of the movie script)

I’ll just call them by their legal names now, it has been awesome seeing these two grow together as a couple and as individuals. I know galen from choir and i know reena from ministry team and those two always had a model high school relationship so it was no supprise that they decided to get married a year out of high school. The wedding was a nice traditional ceremony with Gene Poppino (our churches youth pastor) leading the cermony he talked about how marriage is about submitting to eachother. The reception was nice and lots of small talk was going around which was pretty annoying to me as people i care about/havent seen in a while we just talked about what was going on in our lives instead of going a bit deeper.

When i get married i definately am going to steal my good friend nates idea and have DDR playing somewhere at the place where the reception will be held, galen and reena were also smart in that they had reena’s older brother drive them to their hotel and since the car was his it wasn’t attacked and abused with all kinds of confetti and streamers and paint.

Wow i guess ‘public use’ now includes economic development of the area by seizing propery of private land owners and re-selling that to commercial developers.

Got bored today so i made a network diagram

Monday, June 20th, 2005

We have a very scaleable network as we have the 16 port switch and wireless router, the ip’s listed are static for firewall reasons (port forwarding). The switch can be easily removed for lan partys w/o affecting the network because my pc is going with the switch, the 2 cables from the switch run from downstairs (about 50ft of cable) to upstairs so the diagram is obviously not to scale. The router runs wpa-psk (tkip) encryption so my network is faily secure.

Finding Neverland

Wednesday, June 8th, 2005

I saw the movie finding neveland and i absoluely loved it such good acting, clean (no sex no swearing), no unecessay drama/characters. The acting was superb johnny depp is an amazing actor and kate winslet did an excellent job as well. The movie had some funky camera work at parts that made me a little sick feeling but other that that it was excellent.

3/4 stars.

RE: Microsoft hawking Halo script for $10m

Wednesday, June 8th, 2005

“Receptionists at most major studios reportedly got a shock with their morning coffee yesterday. According to Variety (subscription required), all the major movie studios’ Hollywood offices were visited on Monday by messengers dressed as the Master Chief, the armored hero of the Halo games…”

Wow those are some pretty steap demands espically the $85 million minimum investment (10m for the script 75m investment money).

Top two primary now has defender

I voted yes to I-872 as i thought the top 2 system was a good one as it allowed for third parties as well as allowing me to vote for who i want instead of being forced to vote the party line. Espically after some of the wackos that made it to the final vote that had about zero qualifications compared to their opponent yet still made it because of the nominating primary.
